Why the White Rose Evolution?
The name is derived from 'die Weiße Rose’, a German resistance group that called for non-violent opposition against the Nazi regime during the war, fighting for freedom and pacifism in the process. A handful of heroic students, Sophie and Hans Scholl among them, tried to make people aware of the dangers of fascism by distributing pamphlets against Nationalism and Nazism.
Here are a few excerpts from the pamphlets of 'die Weiße Rose’.
*Nothing is so unworthy of a civilized nation as allowing itself to be governed without opposition by an irresponsible clique that has yielded to base instinct.
*People are systematically subjected and put in a mental prison. (No freedom of thought). However, our current 'State' is a dictatorship of evil, with the ultimate goal being a control state, based on fear.
*Hitler wrote: "You wouldn’t believe how much you have to deceive people in order to rule them".
*Why don’t you spring into action, why do you tolerate that these rulers rob you from all of your rights, openly and covertly, until one day nothing remains. Has your mind been so manipulated that you forget that it’s not only your right, but your moral duty to overthrow this system? Do not hide your cowardice under the cover of common sense. There is no one to dry the tears of the mothers.
*If everyone waits until the other man makes a start, the messengers of avenging Nemesis will come steadily closer.
*A government, country or her citizens must grow and mature just like any individual.
Sophie and Hans were sentenced to the guillotine together with Christoph Probst. The final words of Hans Scholl before his execution were "Long live freedom".
We will not be silent. We are your bad conscience. The White Rose will not leave you in peace!
Why Evolution and not Revolution?
After two World Wars, the world cried: "Never again!" But wars have never stopped. That is why, now more than ever, it is vital to continue the work of 'die Weiße Rose'. We still need to make our voice heard against armed struggle, exploitation and oppression.
Like the students of 'die Weiße Rose', we want this fight to be non-violent. Violent revolutions have only generated more violence, and fighting violence with violence leads to even more violence. Evolving, both as an individual and as a collective, is the way to real change.
When evolution and love grow, there can be world peace. A world where humanity can live together at a much higher level of consciousness, in the service of the individual, humanity and nature. That is what we strive for.
Why is it so hard to be a good person?
Think of the story of the white and black wolf, representing good and evil. Which wolf will be your friend? The one you feed.
The White Rose Evolution aims to bring together constructive organizations and individuals. We stand for real change, where universal truths such as love and wisdom become the new values. For this and future generations.
